4. Face Data Processing, Storage, and Retention

4.1. Processing

Your uploaded reference images containing facial data are processed using OpenAI's DALL-E API services
Facial features are analyzed to generate personalized avatars and cartoon transformations
Processing occurs on secure cloud servers with appropriate encryption

4.2. Storage

Original reference images: We do NOT permanently store your original uploaded images containing facial data. These are temporarily processed and then immediately deleted from our servers.
Generated content: We store the AI-generated avatars and cartoon transformations you create so you can access them later within the app
Storage location: Generated avatars and cartoons are stored on secure cloud servers with appropriate encryption and access controls

4.3. Retention Period

Original facial images: Deleted immediately after processing (typically within minutes)
Generated avatars and cartoons: Stored for up to 2 years from creation date or until you delete your account
Account data: Retained until you request deletion or delete your account
Usage analytics: Retained for up to 1 year in anonymized form

5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

5.1. Face Data Sharing

Will face data be shared with third parties?

OpenAI: Your reference images are temporarily shared with OpenAI's API for processing and transformation. OpenAI processes this data according to their own privacy policy and data handling practices.
No other third parties: We do not share, sell, or distribute your facial data or generated content to any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes.
Legal requirements: We may disclose face data only if required by law, court order, or legal process.

Apple App Store for payment processing (no face data shared)
Analytics services for app improvement (anonymized data only, no face data)
Cloud storage providers for generated content (encrypted storage)
